Completed so far?

So far, I have almost finished the first sheet, which involves most of the the formulae and design layout. I have also decided on a colour scheme, which involes mainly green white and grey.

What changes have you had to the original ideas?

I had to change my design several times sue to the limitations of excel. I wanted at first to have a background that matched the website, i was planning at first to set a background colour and pictures but i strugged to do this. In the end io had to make a picture in fireworks to create the background image

The next plan you plan you work on?

I plan to work on sheet two and finalise all the formulae!

how good is your idea?

- I think that my idea is good as is it fit for purpose and should work when it is done. My idea is a excel sheet, that calculates wages automatically

do you know how it will work?

- I do, there will a drop down list for  the name and wage per hour, once the correct people and wage have been selected, the wage will automatically calculate, and move to a sheet

any difficulties?

-So far, the only difficulty i have had is changing the background of excel :D

So far on this topic i have completed my design, and i have started to move it into powerpoint. I have spent time researching the information i need to include in my project.

I still have to add all the information and add links + animations etc.

Suprisingly, i found the planning side quite hard as i struggled to get inspiration and ideas on how my project will look. I have also found that sticking to the timetabled plan is quite hard and i have had to work hard on sticking to the calender.

I think that i am being successful in most of the excel and questions about layout ect, although i am still finding some of the questions hard. The questions that i find the most difficult is the database questions as i am mostly just guessing them as i do not fully understand databases yet.

Hopefully, after some work on databases i will understand the questions and will no longer have to guess them.

TARGET, to learn about databases so i can answer the questions correctly!

in my project i have completed:-

1. All what i planned to do in january ( Eg, researching, creating buttons, designing my background)
2. Almost finished what i planned to do in february.

Yes, this is almost in line with my plan, but i have reduce my number of slides as i didnt think i would finish it all before easter.

I have also changed my design layout, as i thought my second idea was better than the first. The colour scheme before was red, orange and blue.  i decided that the colours green and blue were more linked to the environment eg, green trees.

I plan to carry on adding information to my slides and then adding pictures, animations and hyperlinking.
