Today, we have been fortunate to watch a history and an English lesson, along wwith a computer lesson that involved gathering the entire class around on, very small computer screen. We also had the pleasure of sitting and talking to the student council who have taken a number of your letters and are writing replies.
Around lunchtime we were taken to watch a vocation education lesson where students are studying hotel management. They prepared and served a meal for us: home made bread, chicken soup, tumeric chips with ketchup followed by a noodle milk pudding. Then half an hour later we sat down for another meal with Father Johnson.
This afternoon (when school had finished), we were taken on a tour of the beaches. Where the fishermen were reeling in their nets with mackerel in (we'll send pictures). We also were lucky enough to see three elephants painted outside the Hindu temples.
This evening, we have climbed to the highest point of the coast and then up a very tall lighthouse to see the views across Goa. Tomorrow it is the festival of Eid so school is closed however, Father Johnson and the teachers are taking us out for the day. We'll keep you posted in the next blog, along with a report on our assembly on Robin Hood.
