My project is about going green with electric cars i am basing my information on the site www.goingreen.co.uk as they specialise in electric cars and helping the enviromnent.

At the start i began to study and research the sun newspapers layout and the sort of advertisments they mainly use on the front page. Then i moved onto the creation of the coursework by using Realdraw PRO 4 To help create logos and also the picture i made. As i completed the sun logo i started on the microsoft logo which i created with all the correct lighting and colours but it can still be edited to make it even more accurate. At the moment i am currently working on the main article text which will take up most of the time as i am working on microsoft products the latest version 2010.  Once i complete the main text i will begin designing the advertisments to make the newspaper look more realistic.

Any issues?

I had a few issues with designing the sun logo as it is hard to find the correct font to make it realistic as possible so i will begin also working on that when i complete the main article and possibly make a good logo which looks like a screenshot of the real logo.

Learned Anything?

I also learned how the "Add a curve" function which helps you go round a picture to copy it but its actually your design and also the lighting which i have improved on. The microsoft logo which i did this with could be improved even more so it looks more smooth and correct colours.

For my enviroment project i will be planning on paper at first then will be moving onto researching polar bears and gorillas then i will be finding catchy images then looking for peoples opinions and what they think off my project at that stage. then i will be moving onto researching global warming and create a couple of graphics and some buttons

For my main information and research i will type it up in Microsoft Word. For my pictures i will use google. For my graphics and buttons i will use real draw and paint sho pro.

So i have decided to make my own Youtube logo from home.

And now for my BMW logo

I think Realdraw is much easier then Inkscape because there are much more options to choose from then just a couple off rubbish ones. Realdraw has many different options including 100s of colours and many features to tweak and improve you image(design)

So i prefer Realdraw because my Youtube logo design was banging =D
