My strategy is:
First I will import the data onto another sheet and link the data to the timetable sheet.
I add the amount of people in each place to the team sheet
To look at the places I need to go, and then begin planning a route on the map. Then using them to try out a route and if it doesn't work then adjust until it does.

I have finished building my project after editing it 3 times. I changed it a few times and spent more time on it than I had originally planned, as I got feedback from other people and made the changes to make the system more user friendly.
I have now completed all of these changes so I am now concentrating on the writing of my coursework.

What have I done so far
I have created my project, I have also made many changes to it since my first design. I have had feedback from 3 people and I have made the changes they suggested to improve my system and to make it more user friendly also to meet the aims of 'Reduce CO2'.
I have also nearly finished all of my write up, I have ICT in the wider world section and some of hardware to complete.
What is left to do?
I need to add the final touches to my system and I need to finish the writing to my coursework.
How will you manage the exam in May?
I will do past papers and revise anything that I need to
What has gone well/not so well?
My write up has gone okay, it was simailar to last year so I knew what I had to do and I just needed to add some more detail to achieve a higher grade than last year.
My project has changed 3 times- so it hasnt gone that well this year, but I am now pleased with the final result.
Also the research took a long time to complete and to find all the correct information that I needed for my project.

I have completed the main build of my 'Carbon Footprint Calculator' I just have a few things to check and to change and make sure it all works, and to get a user to test it and to make sure it is user friendly and make the changes they have suggested.
My calculations went well, and the build of macros.
The design didn't go so well as I had to pick a colour scheme. Also finding the data I need took a long time to find.
The rest of the project shouldn't take long to do, I just need to make a few changes to make the spreadsheet a system and make it user friendly.

Spreadsheets
Spreadsheets can do various different things and can be used to make a simple spreadsheet a user friendly system.
Benefits
Drawbacks
Datebases

Overall I don't like either, but I prefer spreadsheets as you can do more things with it although there are things in databases which you cannot do in excel.

I have created a currency converter which can change pounds into 10 different currencys. Also there is the correct symbol depending on what you convereted it to. I have protected the sheet so the only cell you can change is the amount you want to change. I have done a web quiry for the data of which the VLOOKUP uses. I could also do a macro refresh button so that if the exchnage rate changes it can be updated. The data is on the same page but it is hidden so the user doesn't know its there, also I will protect the page so the user can't change the information.
I used a plain background so the user can clearly read the text. I put some instructions on the system so the user knows what to do.
I used macros so the number in the cell where the user types the amount they wish to change so it is a clear sheet for the next person who uses the system.
I used a web query for the data but when I refresh, it creates another table and doesn't work well, so I haven't made a refresh button in case it doesn't work and the values come up as an error and the user can't use the system.
I could change the design by changing the text font, text colour and background colour, and I could give the user instructions so they could change it themselves

The steps that I will do to create the currency converter:
- 1st I will do a plan on paper as to what my spreadsheet will look like
- I will need to design the buttons that I will use on my spreadsheet
- I will need to design the spreadsheet
- I will put the buttons and all the text onto the spreadsheet
- I will then enter thew exchange rate and connect it to the internet so the exchange rate will change daily
- I will enter the formulas and set it up
- I will then protect the sheet so that only certain cells can be edited
- I will make it user friendly by getting other people to try it out and see if there are any errors with it and make the appropriate changes

We did peer assesment, 3 people looked at my work and gave me some feedback about what I need to improve and what is good.
Posstive Comments:
Targets:
I know you had a short time but a stapler is needed
Some more examples maybe aswell
Recreate the internet browser
Match the labels to the colours in the book (on the examples)
I found this comments helpful, and for the things that work to be pointed out, so I can improve on what needs to be improved on.

My target was to have page 4 completed, I have done the entire booklet so I am ahead of my target. I still need to recreate a print screen which I have decided to add in, once I have recreated that then I need to use the peer assement comments to improve my work and then it is completed.
I decided to use websites as examples of a good and made up a website for a bad example because it is illegal not to have enryption. I decided to use examples to show people what they are looking for and so they understand it better.
